Ten years ago, Xu Lai escaped from home and ventured to Huining in search of a tranquil vacation. Sadly, her plans took an unexpected turn when she found herself caught in an earthquake, buried beneath debris for a harrowing day and night. With her life teetering on the edge, a novice firefighter named Jin Shi Chuan, alongside his dedicated search and rescue canine companion, Windchase, discovered Xu Lai and rescued her from the depths. Upon regaining consciousness, Xu Lai forged a ten-year pact with Jin Shi Chuan, vowing to seek him out a decade later.
