War rages between the Elves and the army of Morgoth. Galadriel and her brother Finrod engage in a bloody battle in which Finrod loses his life. After Galadriel defeats Morgoth, she swears revenge on Sauron.
Years later, Galadriel and her army face the cold of the great frozen desert that is Forodwaith in search of Sauron. They arrive at an Orc camp. The fight is violent, Galadriel fights a snow troll. The Elves are victorious.
In Rhovanion, the Harfoots, a race of Hobbits, live peacefully. Elanor Brandyfoot and Poppy Proudfellow wonder what lies beyond their land. Their curiosity runs counter to the reclusive lifestyle of the Harfoots.
In Lindon, Elrond, a half elf, sees his friend Galadriel return. King Gil-Galad welcomes him back and allows him to sail to the Undying Lands. But Galadriel wishes to continue the battle against Sauron.
In the village of Tirharad, once under the sway of Morgoth, the elf Arondir learns that peace has returned and that he has been called home. He must say goodbye to the one he loves, Bronwyn.
It seems that there are signs of a new threat from Sauron.
