Desierto
A group of Mexican emigrants attempts to cross the Mexican-US border. What begins as a hopeful journey becomes a harrowing, bloody and primal fight for survival when a deranged, rifle-toting vigilante and his loyal Belgian Malinois dog chase the group of unarmed men and women through the treacherous borderland. In the harsh, unforgiving desert terrain, the odds are stacked firmly against them as they discover there’s nowhere to hide from the unrelenting, merciless killer.

Simple et efficace. Classique, certes, la chasse à l’homme… J’ai même pensé à Duel pendant le film. Cela limite le besoin du scénario : un type ne supporte pas que les mexicains viennent dans son pays et les tue… Point. Mais c’est très bien fait : c’est inventif, c’est plein de tension, c’est très bien filmé dans d’excellents paysages, bien joué… Tout ce qu’il faut. Un bon moment de tension.
Un bon moment de tension malgré quelques longueurs.
Très bon film sur le thème de la survie un peu comme le film The revenant.
