Film très émouvant ou par soubresauts présent/passé on suit l'histoire d'un jeune homme et de son destin peu banal lié à un tableau. La symbolique de ce chardonneret attaché toute sa vie et de ce garçon lié à sa mère à travers lui est très poignante. Les acteurs sont très crédibles et le scénario très bien ficelé.
