About this movie

Amy Klein (Kari Wuhrer, Eight Legged Freaks) is a tough-as-nails reporter working for an underground newspaper. But when Amy's job leads her to a mysterious cult and the evil Pinhead, any moment could be her last. The thrilling villain you love to hear delivers another hellish nightmare you'll never forget. With "a dead-on performance by Kari Wuhrer and a great visual eye by director Rick Bota," Deader is a must-have for any horror fan (Beyond Hollywood).

Reviews will tell you that this isn't worth seeing, but if you start with the position that most horror movies lack good drama but have some good scenes, then you shouldn't be too disappointed. There are at least 3 scenes in this movie that you will remember long after seeing it if you have a very visually-oriented memory. Hellraiser films do not represent the best of cinematic drama by any means --neither does the horror genre IMO. But this Hellraiser title has just any many memorable scenes as any of the classic Hellraiser films and about as many memorable scenes as other horror films. Not a great film, but memorable nonetheless. My biggest complaint is the casting of Kari; she's just an unlikable actress.
