Ordinary Magic

Raised in the culture of India, 15 year old Jeffrey Moore (Ryan Reynolds) is forced to start a whole new life with his Aunt Charlotte (Glenne Headly) in Canada when his father dies. Just when Jeffrey starts to feel a sense of belonging in his new home, his world is threatened yet again as a developer (Paul Anka) prepares to demolish the family home that now means so much to Jeffrey. In response, he turns to the Hindu traditions he learned in India, rallying classmates and townspeople to oppose the development. What starts as a bit of summer fun quickly becomes serious as Jeffrey and Charlotte make their last stand.
