Stimulating in a way that alters one's mode of establishing perceptions. Fleeting moments agitating a massive disruption in one's assumed reality. How galaxy redefinining and soul crushing power is held within the sheer panic of a glance. How heart busting volatile fits ensue in the absence of that twist of one's neck, the shift of one's eyes. The color coded agony dragging us audience members into the undertow. Reduced circumstances to fatten us Hulu members ' ideas about living life. The fading glow of a soft flame one beckons to reclaim their spirit- wildfires burning stomach acid from the inside out; consuming every waking iota and wavelength a muddied brain would grasp to obtain. Utterly Captivating, Bravo.

A very timely piece, considering the current politics in this country: this is similar to what happened to women, the GLBT community, and to dissenters of all types, in Iran and Afghanistan, and in areas where ISIS established dominance. I think it is a great modern adaption of Atwood's book, and--damn her for being so precient-- is a reasonable interpretation of a Christian form of Sharia law being forced onto a once progressive people. Though this adaption is actually far more hopeful than Atwood's original storyline.... ******SPOILER ALERT****** In the book June's story is a found narrative in a diary, long after the eventual fall of Gilead. As I recall, her husband is shot and killed in front of her, Moira never escapes, and June's daughter is lost to Gilead. It is never known whether June and her lover ever make it to Canada.

I find this show to be EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE, Jaw dropping, MIND BENDING & so intriguing that it keeps you on the edge of your seat all while being so captivated by the incredible visuals, fascinating storyline (Margaret Atwood, incredible) & Superb acting by all!! "The Handmaid's Tale" is with out a doubt my #1 most favorite show out right now, let alone that I've seen in some time. The emotions that captivate and takeover you while watching making you feel as if you are involved in this story from the beginning! With such a realistic chilling tale/storyline that very well could happen if something were to take a turn with Woman's Rights etc... is very scary and makes it just that much more intense and empowering! •WELL DESERVED GOLDEN GLOBE AWARD Emma Moss played an incredible role, stellar acting my dear! Guess next for me is to finally read the book! Lol.. Best of luck on this incredible journey for all involved!
