About this movie

Robert Downey Jr. plays Peter Highman, an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is only days away. As he hurries to catch a flight home to Los Angeles from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor and disaster-magnet Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) leads to the two of them being tossed off the plane and placed on a no-fly list...while Peter's luggage, wallet and ID take off without him. With no alternatives in sight, Peter is forced to hitch a ride with Ethan and his canine traveling companion on what turns out to be a cross-country road trip that will destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve. Before seeing this film, if you had offered me a movie with odd-couple pair Galafianakis and Downey Jr, I would have paid any price to make you go away and destroy all copies. Then I saw due date, and now I've changed my mind. Serious warning: don't drink root beer while watching because laughing it through your nostrils can be painful.

This movie is well done interesting and this a film that's different can't compare it to hang over or a hero created by Stan Lee its good even watch it again can you imagine if this happened and you just wanted to get home. Fricken funny the actors are well picked to be characters for it . Really liked this film own it yeah 2$ we worth it & I think the did a great job showing the characters ending up with friendship being so different Mexico scene so good flying around back of stolen trailer

It had its moments, but never really went anywhere. Plus a terribad ending that felt tacked on. Downey's moments of improv felt forced and nothing like his Iron Man brilliance.
