honestly I shouldn't like this movie as much as I do and it's probably more of when I saw this in my youth, but I can't help but love this one, with all its faults. The music is still worth watching

Some scenes have acting or dialogue that didn't age well. The movie starts out good but near the end just kinda loses it

Full disclosure; there is a lens of nostalgia involved when it comes to this film. I'll do my best to set it aside, but the heart wants what it wants— The most common criticism I see of this movie is 'it's not the greatest movie about Robin Hood'; this seems to imply that there is a more accurate, serious, or factual take on the character. We are, however, talking about a legend. A legend that's fit the needs of people for centuries. The existence of an actual outlaw on which that legend is based, or the serious consideration of the medieval world he would have inhabited is of no more interest or relevance than the OS and CPU of the Iron Man armor in the Marvel Universe. In short, this is a hero's tale, and an excellent take on it at that. Let it talk to your heart, not your head, and enjoy the ride.
