A lot of people said the movie was confusing, and some religious freaks were sickened by it. To the people confused: Pay attention to the film, and to the religious freaks: Go back under your rock where you belong. The story was dark, brutal, twisted and overall it was decent at best, but what made me rate is 1 star is the fact that the movie made me and others who were watching feel like we were going to lose our damned minds. At some points we felt like time was beginning to skip. This is the sort of film you put on repeat to torture someone. To the writers and directors, you guys did a great job making one for the most mind f*king movies I have ever seen in my entire existence.

It's a horrible, disgusting movie. Had high hopes because of the actors/actresses starring in this film, and because I love scary movies. I heard of the not so great reviews, but wanted to see for myself. Now, I just wish I could get that time of my life back! This movie shouldn't be considered portraying God or Jesus. If anything, the character is Satan, because God isn't destruction! He is a God of Love! It started off ok...then It became very irritating to watch. Please do yourself a favor, read reviews, but please spare yourself the agony and don't bother watching!!!

Grotesque Yet Intellectual I am not ashamed to type that I needed to Google the interpretation of Mother! after I watched it. I did not catch or understand all of the details of the film at first. I found the movie hard to watch, especially towards its end. However, I am glad that I was uncomfortable because the point of the work resonated with me. I feel that the work offers a differing viewpoint of Christianity's God than what is offered by The Church.
