When i was going into this movie i was excited. All the trailers and commercails saying its the number 1all star comedy. Now this movie did make me laugh at a couple scenes. But the entire plot is just getting gang banged by diffent points. And at that point you get board or your like "when is this going to end" now im going to end on this note. If you think it will nock your socks off, you will be disapointed. I suggest just waiting untill its on netflix.

I have loved the Cohen brother movies, but this one is the Worst Cohen Brothers movie ever made. "Hail Caesar" is the Emperor with No Clothes. The cast, and the name, "Cohen Brothers" weave a tale that is as vacuous and empty as the crooked, fairy tale, tailor's fabric. It is a rambling, incoherent, unfunny, waste of time. Those that say they really like it because (" I understand movies" - or "work in the industry", or, "hey it's satire" ) are like the naked emperors sycophantic supporters; deluded! Wake up critics! This Emperor has no clothes. Hail Caesar fails on every metric used to measure a good movie. It is destined to become a "classic bad movie" to be watched with contempt by future students of the movies. A great cast, great directors, high production values, and abundance of immense talent, does not amount to a hill of beans without "a good story well told". The Cohen brothers have become the brothers grim with this movie. Watch it! Judge for yourself!

Save your money. It is visually stunning but no one laughed the entire time. Characters don't have enough screen time for development and too few of the story lines intersect to be of any significance. I kept thinking, what does that add to the movie? In the end the answer unfortunately is nothing. Sad I now own the bluray and dvd of this.
