About this movie

In “Point Break,” a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), infiltrates a cunning team of thrill-seeking elite athletes–led by the charismatic Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways. Deep undercover, and with his life in imminent danger, Utah strives to prove they are the architects of this string of inconceivable crimes. The film is replete with the most daring athleticism ever seen in a motion picture. These action adventure feats are performed by elite athletes representing the world’s best in class in big-wave surfing, wingsuit flying, sheer-face snowboarding, free rock climbing, and high-speed motorcycling.

I don't give a hell about anything yall are complaining about this movie actually gave me, and a whole halfway house of men & women, a small handful of different perspectives and outlooks on life that I'm sure we all still apply to our daily lives! 😂😂For example( I may not have it word for word) "nobody can pick your path for you and someone elses path could just get you killed simply because it's not your path. Just look at what's ahead and when your path comes make sure its beautiful!"

If this were called something other than Point Break it possibly would have gotten better reviews. It's not that the original was all that either. But, the original could be considered a cult classic to which more can relate to. The new one, even with all its glorified stunts, just doesn't live up to the title. The other thing is, they could have done better with the casting of the higher ups. And, what a disrespect to Gary B! I still give it three stars but Point Break it is not.

Yes, the original is much better. This one head way too much heavy handed moralizing. However, the action sequences and stunts are extremely well-executed and i found that the movie was extremely enjoyable because of that. Bhodi in this movie is reprehensible, but off you just kick back and enjoy the extreme sporting sequences and action, i really don't think you'll be bored, they are very entertaining. Only entertaining for those sequences and thankfully they make up a large chunk of thr movie. :-)
