Solid movie. Casey Affleck carries the film well. It is slow, dark and bitter sweet; but a good realistic-feeling story. Admittedly the ending kind of snuck up and was a bit odd. I agree it could have been done better, but to be honest, I am not sure how to end a story like this. A few comments described too much violence, profanity, etc. I suppose if you are a prude the movie could be a bit much, but I honestly didn't even notice it. Yeah it was present, but it felt natural and nowhere as bad as most other films.

Beginning good. Middle great. Ending awful. Its like a chef making a well crafted dish and then pooping on the ending/meal. Did the film makers run out of money halfway through the movie? The movie Arrival has the same problem. Hollywood what is going on!!? This is happening so often now with movies! #HOLLYWOODWAKEUP

a story done by TV several times. Nothing new or interesting. Affleck performance one-dimensional, depressed face, head down. Direction slow and unsure. music far too loud in critical police interrogation scene.
