I HAVE WATCHED THE TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR OVER 40 YEARS. IT DEPICTS THE LIFE OF MOSES, MINUS 30 YEARS. I WASN'T AROUND DURING THE LIFE OF MOSES, I DON'T CARE IF HEBREWS WERE DARK SKINNED OR NOT, MAYBE THEY HAD GREAT TANS BUT THIS MOVIE MADE IN THE 50'S IS A GREAT MASTERPIECE. NAYSAYERS SHOULDN'T WATCH IT.

This movie is always watched at my home. Cecile B. Demille did the grunt work. He researched, went and asked rabbis and men of faith their views and what was what. Even the costumes ( albeit the zippers) and even the customs. He went deep, unlike some producers, directors and writers. That is why this movie has stood the test of 5 to 6 decades.

About as Biblically accurate a movie that has been made. Its dated in some ways but a 100% classic. The ppl whining about the "pale" color ppl. Come on, the 1950s. Different time, everyone didn't get triggered about every little thing, and they're were not as many recognizable dark skin actors then. Its an amazing movie
