As the Morales family mourns Delfia's senseless death, Izzy (Otmara Marrero) is consumed with thoughts of revenge. Rask (Martin Freeman) makes a Faustian bargain with Russian gang leader Vera (Vera Cherny), who offers up one of her men as the fall guy for Rask's crime. Nick is terrified that he will be next on the Russians' hit list, but Vera has other plans for him. As the new king of Little Haiti, Ronald (Edi Gathegi) faces mounting challenges from rival gangs, gentrification and an increasingly restive crew. He recognizes a potential life-altering solution when his son Touie (Kelvin Harrison, Jr.) comes up with an ingenious, albeit risky, idea to change the gang's business model.

Rask is squeezed by the Russians, who are more demanding than he had been expecting. Izzy finally begins to reckon with the recent past and arrives at a breakthrough.

the crypto currency business and investing aspect of the the show is cool, but the racy scenes are over the top.

"Startup" 2016 is not a comedy --as labeled here-- but a thriller, as labeled in IMDB.
