Season 2 episodes (17)

1 The Murphy
9/11/15
Season 2 picks up where Season 1 left off, moments after the launch of the tactical nuclear weapons triggered by Murphy. It's every man for him/herself. Our Heroes split up as they try to outrun the impending blast. Citizen Z finds himself battling thawed zombies and unable to communicate with the team. In a desperate attempt to help them out on their quest to get to California and the CDC, Citizen Z issues an on air bounty for Murphy. Suddenly everyone wants a piece of the Murphy, including a mysterious and deadly bounty hunter, Vasquez.
2 The White Light
9/18/15
Following Citizen Z's on-air bounty announcement, it seems like everyone left who isn't a zombie is on the hunt for Murphy -- and they're not afraid to do whatever it takes to bring him in dead or alive! Newly reunited, our Heroes find themselves battling both zombies and over-eager bounty hunters. The fighting is fierce, resulting in a near-death experience for each of our Heroes, culminating in a tragedy no one saw coming. In all the confusion, Murphy manages to give our Heroes the slip yet again. Vasquez, at first interested only in bagging Murphy for himself, starts to see the value in working with our Heroes rather than against them. Together they must work as a team to figure out just where Murphy has gone now.
3 Zombie Road
9/25/15
Our Heroes manage to finally track Murphy down. They come across a wagon train caravan of desperate survivors transporting victims of the nuclear blast to safety. Along the way they are attacked by "Blasters," superfast zombies mutated by the radioactive fallout. Our Heroes are introduced to "Z-Weed," an ultra-potent strain of marijuana grown in zombie compost. They go on a quest for "Batch 47," a potential cure for the Zombie Virus.
4 Batch 47
10/2/15
On the quest for a "natural" cure for the Zombie Virus, the survivors make their way to the greenhouse where "Batch 47" is being grown and guarded by "Phytos," half zombie/half plant hybrids.
5 Zombaby!
10/9/15
Murphy's past actions come back to haunt him when a pregnant Serena tracks him down. Meanwhile, the survivors stumble across a hidden Mennonite farm where the members are battling not only zombies, but anthrax as well.
6 Zombie Baby Daddy
10/16/15
Brand new baby daddy Murphy is falling in love with his precious baby girl, but the rest of the team is concerned there's more to Little Miss Murphy Jr. than meets the eye. Vasquez sneaks away for a secret meeting and Warren follows, learning a bit more about the mysterious bounty hunter. Cassandra, more zombie than human, forces 10K to make the hardest decision of his life.
7 Down The Mississippi
10/23/15
Our Heroes try to cross the Mississippi but are involved in a boating accident and split up again. 10K is drawn into Sketchy and Skeezy's latest scam, resulting in a run in with Escorpion. Playing judge, jury and executioner all in one, Escorpion sentences 10K, Sketchy and Skeezy all to death. Warren and the rest of our Heroes arrive on the scene, but is it too late?
8 The Collector
10/30/15
Tricked into a trap by use of a fresh brain lure, Murphy is captured by an overly enthusiastic and slightly unbalanced zombie fan, “The Collector,” who is hell-bent on adding him to his zombie museum. Murphy must match wits with the Collector if he's to survive, much less escape.
9 Rozwell
11/6/15
Mysterious things are starting to happen as our Heroes drive through RoZwell, New Mexico. Bright lights in the sky and the appearance of a beautiful but slightly 'spacey' woman, Bernadette, lead the team on an adventure through an abandoned Air Force base in search of zombie aliens. There they discover what looks like alien technology and quite possibly the answer to the question, "Are we really alone in the universe?"
10 We Were Nowhere Near the Grand Canyon
11/13/15
A massive horde of zombies threatens our Heroes! With no way to go around, they're forced to split up for safety. Driven by the horde onto sacred Native American grounds, our Heroes find two distinct halves of the same tribe trying to survive two separate ways. The "zunami" is bearing down on them all and their very survival at stake. Will our Heroes figure out how to get both sides of the tribe to forgive each other and work together to survive?
11 Corporate Retreat
11/20/15
Our Heroes find themselves eyeball deep in corporate politics after they decide to seek shelter at a hotel taken over by a group of white collar survivors. While they're participating in trust falls and talking stick circles, someone tries to kill Murphy by shooting him. Suddenly faced with a possible killer in their midst, our Heroes play a dangerous game of "Clue" - with zombies!
12 Party with the Zeros
11/27/15
Our Heroes are captured by the Zeros and taken to the Zero compound. There they are introduced to the Queen of the Zeros, "La Reina." She tells them she is paving the way for a bold new future and instituting her own form of democracy via the Zeros. Impressed with our Heroes, La Reina invites them to join her team. Dr. Kurian is also at the Zero compound where he's been refining his Z-Vaccine and is finally ready for human trials. The first dose seems like a success and all the Zeros line up for their turn. Meanwhile Vasquez decides there's no time like the present to exact his revenge on Escorpion.
13 Adios, Muchachos
12/4/15
All hell breaks loose when it's discovered that Dr. Kurian's Z-Vaccine doesn't work at all! Instead of building an immunity to the Zombie Virus, the bad vaccine actually makes anyone inoculated susceptible to Murphy's unique brand of mind manipulation. Vasquez gets caught in his plot to kill Escorpion and is sentenced to death by La Reina. Murphy uses mental manipulation to position Warren as La Reina's new second in command. Warren frees Vasquez just in time to watch everyone who was inoculated succumb to a bizarre new form of the Zombie Virus.
14 Day One
12/11/15
California -- finally! Our Heroes drive across the border into the Golden state. As they near their goal, each member thinks back to where they were when the whole Zombie Apocalypse started and what it took to get to where they are today.
15 All Good Things Must come to an End
12/18/15
Los Angeles! Our Heroes drive through the abandoned city on their way to the coordinates of the mobile CDC lab given to them by Citizen Z. They head up towards Malibu where they discover the CDC lab isn't just a lab…it's a submarine! Dr. Merch welcomes our Heroes aboard and not a moment too soon as the Zeros show up hot on their heels. It's a bittersweet moment as Murphy says goodbye to the rest of our Heroes. As they leave Murphy and the fate of humanity with Dr. Merch, one question lingers; is this really the end of our grand adventure?

About this show

Z Nation depicts the epic struggle to save humanity after a zombie apocalypse. The series is a dynamic ensemble drama that plunges viewers into a fully-imagined, post-zombie America, and takes them on adventures with a diverse group of richly-drawn characters. The cast includes Tom Everett Scott (Beauty and the Beast, Southland), DJ Qualls (Road Trip, Supernatural), Michael Welch (The Twilight trilogy), Kellita Smith (The Bernie Mac Show), Anastasia Baranova (The Darkness II), Russel Hodgkingson (Big Fish) and Keith Allan (Rise of the Zombies). Z Nation starts three years after the zombie virus has gutted the country, and follows a team of everyday heroes tasked with transporting the only known survivor of the plague from New York to California - where the last functioning viral lab waits for his blood. Although the antibodies he carries are the world’s last, best hope for a vaccine, he hides a dark secret that threatens them all. With humankind’s survival at stake, the ragtag band embarks on a journey of survival across three thousand miles of rusted-out post-apocalyptic America.

Its is a genuinely good syfy zombie show. See the word "Syfy", meaning it is going to be a goofy fun show about zombies. It is not amazing and it is no walking dead level greatness, so i dont get what people where expecting. But for a syfy show it is pretty good. Not say that syfy is bad, but this is actually one of their better shows, and it delivers where it has to to. Zombie killing, weirdness, and geeky jokes and references, cameos. And it is just different than any other zombie show, since it's sort of lighthearted, zombie smashing geeky fun show, Syfy style. Honestly if you expected something else from Syfy, then you are either crazy, or you haven't watched enough syfy programming.

The first few seasons will capture you, however as the story progresses it is obvious that the writers are phoning it in. Main characters become stereotypical in every sense of the word, the plot gets as thin as possible, and the entire series now relies on millennial style jokes that are just awful, definitely not watching further seasons. I hope the writers never find work again based on the small amount of content that they can come up with. The plot also soon becomes characters that are the personification of teen angst and has logic fly out the window. They even throw in a kid who can only speak through obvious sound bytes of a crow... because aparently a kid got raised by a murder of crows... seriously? The repetition of mistakes within the characters becomes unbearable and not to mention that the few characters that actually add depth to the story become complacent and overall just annoying. If you are under the age of 15 and like zombies, I'm sure this show will suit you, mostly because you have minimal sense of what a good show entails. Very disappointed and do not recommend anyone to buy this season unless you are half brain dead.
