I am simply amazed at all the 5☆ ratings! Have peoples taste in movies gone so off base they can't tell a good movie from a bad one? This movie was as bad as I have ever seen. And this wasn't a little bad...it was as bad as bad as they come. If I could sue to recover the time I lost watching it? I would. Pure garbage. Watch this and I guarantee you will regret the decision to do so afterward.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel like this needs to be said. This movie is not fun or enjoyable to watch. I found it repulsive. If you like filth, confusion, insanity, discomfort and darkness, maybe this movie is for you. If it weren't for the good acting, I would give it one star, but even good acting can't save this thing. I don't reccomend it unless you're just the curious type and want to be part of the discussion. A great movie this is NOT, and Willem Dafoe is one of my favorite actors.

Let’s start off with this, it was definitely unique, very perverted but never reached its climax, suspenseful, great acting, I can see multiple nominations for this movie however it remains in an artist‘s view and portrayal. It was predictable however sightly inconspicuous. Disturbingly erotic but unpleasantly fulfilling. Overall it was ok. The artistic black and white choreography biasly commands its reward which is warranted from the first scene. 3/5
