About this movie

Young surfer Nick (Josh Hutcherson) thinks all his dreams have come true when he gets to visit his brother in Colombia. Against an idyllic backdrop of blue lagoons and white beaches, he falls madly in love with a beautiful girl. It all seems perfect until he meets her uncle, the famous drug kingpin Pablo Escobar (Benicio Del Toro). Nick soon finds his life on the line when he’s pulled into the dangerous world of the family business.

This isnt a true story but it has a very true person in it. Why? You cant make up things historically about a person or period, its like manifest destiny all over again. You want it to be real to make money off of so you create a film without regard to who you hurt just so your film is made, I guess the manifest destiny thing is kind of weird but if your gonna do it, do it really good!!!!

I thought it'd be way better specially with Benicio del Toro playing Pablo Escobar it wasn't bad but I just got out the movies and seen Sicario was 1 of the best movies I've ever seen

This movie was good but not great. I'm glad I watched it but it might not be one to watch again. It seemed like parts were missing. Why did Pablo want him dead? They never explained it. Some parts were just weird. Alot of detail about one part & nothing about another. Left me with lots of questions...
