i have ALWAYS loved this movie when this movie came out, it was criticized for being too 'obvious" too blatant i never cared what others thought. the big point of contention was it bested Brokeback Mountain as best picture (imo as a gay man, THIS WAS better than boring brokeback) in the current atmosphere with hatred and fear and inhumanity screaming at us at every turn, it is time this film is rewatched and LISTENED TO at heart we are all human. our fear our hatred comes from not understandin not paying attention not CARING for each other PLEASE watch this and learn

Scene's from this movie hit the mark as far as the human spirit and how people stereotype and how cruel one can become . At the same time it shows us how to remain humble. Love adventually conquers all. Terrific cast, some of my favorite acter and actresses of all time , With only two missing Edward Norton and Meryl Streep .One of the most memorable movies ever. I loved it.

@ScottyNelson. Nailed it!! Similar thoughts and words came right to mind.I genuinely was wonderfully happy that your commented review was the first comment! When I saw this film in the also like list, I instantly thought this superb movie from the past is a must watch and or rewatch for anyone. I personally think/feel in my opinion this movie reflects a lot of our present time and resonates on so many levels. P.S I commented and submitted a review after only reading one review that was the first review posting. After reading additional reviews i was simultaneously surprised and not surprised that there is a couple reviews that missed the mark on the willingness to grow towards trying for a positive...👀🤔..🧠🌬💨......🌀 Mix of reviews some great. Some not as open minded to trying for positive changes ☮️💟☯️⚛️ Very sad to see reviews that reflect the personal opinions of people who are automatically attaching race/color with other assumptions of certain color of skin/race. Sad to see Such mindsets of close mindedness, level of hypercritical untrue claims and or judging and or faulting others with stereotyping others by and or for there race/skin colors and that it must mean and or assume that one race/skim color must all share the same thinking and feelings with saner shared POV. That type of mindset and or outlook is a price tag to a bill to personal thoughts, feelings that are a negativity and put oneself into self contained, and or a victims mindset, and cause self infliction of never opening up to facts and are self creating future issues that are based on personal feelings and blamed on and or directed towards others.. stop waiting, blaming with talking and complaining and start doing and changing for a positive. 🎵.☮️🎶💟🎶☯️🎶⚛️🎵
