About this movie

Hailed as "the best animated feature of 2017" (IndieWire) and "nothing short of exceptional" (Variety), The Breadwinner is an inspiring and vibrantly animated tale about the power of stories to sustain hope and carry us through dark times. Parvana is an 11-year-old girl growing up under the Taliban in Afghanistan in 2001. When her father is wrongfully arrested, Parvana cuts off her hair and dresses like a boy in order to support her family. Working alongside her friend Shauzia, Parvana discovers a new world of freedom – and danger. With undaunted courage, Parvana draws strength from the fantastical stories she invents as she embarks on a quest to find her father and reunite her family. - ( Original Title - The Breadwinner )

Though it's yet to come out, The previous movies made byh the same develepor, like Song of the Sea has been extremely good. I've watched it in 3rd grade and we absolutely loved it. This has me really hyped up, and the subject of the movie sounds really entertaining. I'm expecting this movie yo be absolutely amazing! If you haven't already, you should watch the movie " Song of the Sea " - Jeremiah Cuadro

This film handles a difficult subject very carefully workout lifting any of the weight of the subject. I was gross sobbing by the end. Worth a watch to expand your horizons. This movie will never leave me, and that's a good thing. By the same studio that did Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea. The animation here is just as good! Using a different animation for the story bits was interesting! Only for stars because of how wrecked I was, emotionally, afterwards.

Tbh, it pisses me off that AJ is involved in this. I understand the cultural sexism, but AJ here is just a scream for feminism. Don't use pure cartoons to broadcast angry and petty adult messages. I probably won't watch this because of arbitrary political agendas, but Kells and Sea were astounding films. You should enjoy those movies.
