About this movie

Three years ago, Donna (Brittany Snow, John Tucker Must Die) watched in horror as an obsessed predator (Johnathon Schaech, That Thing You Do!) murdered her family. Tonight is her senior prom and although she's anxious about the past, she's excited to celebrate her future with her friends. What Donna doesn't know is that the deranged psychopath has escaped from the asylum. He's returned to hunt her down, intent on killing anyone who gets in his way. As the night races towards its heart-pounding conclusion, the question becomes not who will be prom queen, but who will survive the killer's rampage. 2008 Screen Gems, Inc. and Miramax Film Corp. Yes, NoES lacked something and the "new" Chainsaw was too slick, but this is literally a pile of crap. They changed the entire plot and made it incredibly lame in contrast to the original, not to mention I don't give an eff about these dumb suburban rich kids and their prom hotel. Yep, that about sums up my feelings.

It's not good of a movie. If I was one of the creator of this movie I would make it alot suspenceful. *possiblity of spoilers* The killer doesn't hide his face like for example Scream the killer hide his face until they reval it to the surviving victian. But noooooo this film didn't follow the horror movie rule. Like for example Jason has a hocley mask, Micheal wear a white mask with hair, Ghostface wear a ghost mask, and Tv series of the same name from the killer ghostface wear a Brandon James mask.

This movie actually gave me the willies! It was really horrifying because Donna's friends were being MURDERED! I actually feel bad for Donna. I cried when Lisa got her throat slit! But still people should see this movie! Also after you watch it, see the 1980 version with Original scream queen, Jamie Lee Curtis.
