About this show

Steven Universe is about the misadventures of a boy named Steven, the ultimate "little brother" to a team of magical guardians of humanity-the Crystal Gems. Steven may not be as powerful as the Crystal Gems. Or as savvy. But that doesn't stop him from joining Garnet, Amethyst and Pearl on their magical adventures and somehow finding a way to save the day!

this show is so bad. I can't tell if people are lying in the reviews out of spite or what. imagine taking all the unpleasantness of our current political climate and making a cartoon out of it. Anyway, the whole thing is cringey and unrelatable. For context, I think that Adventure Time, Hilda and especially Gravity Falls are some of the best shows to come out in the last 30 years, but Steven Universe is just bad.

It's not the best show I have ever seen, BUT I am still a huge fan! You can see how much it has developed from the first episode! Once the true story line comes into play, it is amazing. The art style is eye catching, the songs are a nice touch, and the concept is great! Not to mention the diversity, it truly amazes me.

REALLY weird and a little over the years of most children ... a lot of very subtle subtext regarding more adult (or at least post-teen) subject matter but an all around GREAT show. Only gave 4 stars because so much more could be done on Cartoon Network and certainly on [as].
