After watching the first Left Behind movie over 14 years ago, I was excited that they would finally have got it right. Especially since Nicholas Cage would be starring in it. What a disappointment! This truly does not give credit to the books written by Tim LeHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. As a matter of fact, it was nothing like the book whatsoever. What I expected was something like the cross between the (maybe not quite so special effects) of Noah combined with a really good Stephen King novel. Which is what the Left Behind books were like...The Book of Revelations written as though they took place TODAY and believe me I think there's more to these books than you think. But what the producers of this latest Left Behind movie came up with was a half hearted attempt at trying to please the Christian audience instead of producing a movie that would appeal to everyone and want them come back to see the sequels. The script was lousy, the acting was very poor, the choreography didn't make sense most of the time. I felt like it was "well okay you guys, we've got a limited budget here, so let's make the best of Nicholas Cages reputation" Even Tim LaHaye tried to get the script tossed out

Yet another clean cut representation that Christians create horrible propaganda because that is the only way to get people to believe in the bible. This movie literally has no faith in humanity, and portrays us as vile and disgusting criminals if we don't blindly follow the word of god. The entire premise of this movie is that without Christians on earth, humanity would dive deeply into chaos. Somehow I think the world would be a better place without this movie honestly. THANK GOD the kick-starter for the sequel fails miserably. Unless you're strictly hear for Nicholas Cage... because of course he'd be in this movie... carry on.
