About this movie

Academy Award-nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor and Academy Award-winners Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts star in this intense, haunting thriller that explores the murky boundaries between justice and revenge. A tight-knit team of rising investigators - Ray (Chiwetel Ejiofor), Jess (Julia Roberts) and their supervisor Claire (Nicole Kidman) - is torn apart when Jess's teenage daughter is brutally and inexplicably murdered. After obsessively searching for the elusive killer every day for 13 years, Ray finally uncovers a new lead that he's certain will resolve the case. No one is prepared, however, for the shocking secret that will reveal the enduring, destructive effects of personal vengeance on the human soul. But the story is very lacking! /however id like to take a moment & adress the reviewer atop this goog list. A) why do you feel it necessary to disparage any actor or person for that matter LET ALONE 2 OF THE FINEST CONTEMPORANEOUS FEMALE ACTORS?Its flat out petty mean spirited & in this case ignorant ; because, 2nd) these particular roles call for what a police officer and/or detectives attire & physicality would be.Do you think IRL women need to be made up in the workplace, let alone in genera

I loved the ending. The dirt bag got what he deserved. I did not always follow so good and sometimes found my mind drifting but it is a pretty good movie and spoiler alert don't read any further......i love she held him captive all those years. Go mom!

Ok so first of all I actually like this movie. The problem for me is that we don't find out the twist until the very end and then it ends up being all for nothing. Don't even get me going on the romance that should of happened but never did why even bring it up if it never ends up happening. It was a pointless distraction. I just feel like it could have been so much better with a few tweaks. Over all it was good. Definitely different I haven't heard of a plot like this before it's something different.
