To think Mic Jagger, of the Rolling Stones, produced this movie is a real testament to James Brown's greatness. I've seen this movie six time and Chadwick, was stupendous in his portrayal of James. The young kid who played James as a child gave a compelling performance of an abused and neglected boy. And all the historical accounts of Jame's brush with the law showed that God had his hand on his life. Applause to the producer, Chadwick, choreographer, and cast for an exceptionally well made bio pic.

I love this movie! LOVED IT.! I don't understand what people are thinking or talking about! The movie is 2 hours and 18 minutes long already!! If they wanted to see more, the movie would be 4 hours and 45 minutes! C'mon people. Get real! It's an adaptation of a Black man's life in America, the good, the bad and the ugly times! I truly appreciated and enjoyed watching Chadwick Boseman's portrayal of the legendary James Brown. JB's songs are sampled constantly. Great job, Chadwick Boseman, R.I.H.
