Byzantium

Expecting so much but greatly disappointed. The film is disjointed with a contrived feel, some scenes utterly laughable. I had to turn it off after 40 minutes. It's a pity because you can tell that this director has the ability to have done a much better job.

Not your typical vampire movie I love how it wasnt a sappy love story but a movie about what a woman did for the love of her daughter. And how even a vampire mother can be over bearing and a little over protective. I like how these characters are so relate to able and you see yourself hoping they both live at the end.

As far as Vampire lore goes I t hought it brought n almost humanist approcach. I felt the story was rusheded towards the end of the film, but a good watch nonetheless
