About this movie

A twisted, funny, high-octane adventure, director Matthew Vaughn brings KICK-ASS to the big screen. KICK-ASS tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name -- Kick-Ass -- assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There's only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).

This movie is actually extremely good through the witty yet immature dry and very dark humor. Kickass is a movie filled with morals and messages in the form of a over the top ultra violent comic book/British mob type film (the director does that kinda movies) I don't know how to explain except you should watch it at least twice to realize it's more than what it seems. Awesome cast and Chloë Grace Moretz (hitgirl) did amazing because she was 11 during filming.

This movie is pure fun. It doesn't take itself too seriously, with so many comic book movies are out to do in recent years, and the casting was great; even Nicolas Cage didn't manage to ruin the flick. And any movie that features a teen girl murdering drug dealers to the theme song of "Banana Splits," gets extra points. Overall, I'd give it an 85%.

This is one of my favorite movies different and violently funny as hell, hit girl steals this movie (she also did in part 2) great movie for adults as well as kids..... enjoy. Just kidding it's not really for kids but they'll probably see it anyway.
