The Lawnmower Man: Director's Cut

Years ago, Stephen King wrote a short story called "Lawnmower Man" it was featured in Skeleton Crew if i remember correctly. The story did indeed have a Red Lawnmower featured within, but that's one of only a few things that are similar. Stephen K wasn't pleased with those borrowed aspects. And justly so. The movie on it's own, features a very GOOD story. I almost think this would have been amazing, had it come out during VR's actual inception a few years ago. I've enjoyed this movie since it's original release. It's own beast, stay FAR away from the PG rated sequel "Jobes War" though VERY cringe worthy. This one remains awesome.

Great movie, but just not for todays generation. Living in todays modern times truly takes away the magestic feeling that came with it during a different era. Our surroundings back then allowed this movie to shine. Todays generation have more technology on their wrist or pocket than what Lawnmower clamed to have.

I wouldnt recommend. ALL Thumbs DOWN!
