An exceptional movie, outstanding script, direction, acting and cinematography. I watched this movie, then went back and watched the last hour twice. Alec Secareanu as Gheorghe and Josh O'Connor as Johnny give spectacular yet subtle performances that depict a touching and very real view of an unusual relationship. Support cast of Gemma Jones and Ian Hart round out a brilliant ensemble. I had to watch again to re-enjoy the deep subtly in the acting. Working with a minimal script - the vast majority of the character of this nearly star-crossed pair comes through the excellent cinematography. The actors have embraced the script and brought it to life in a remarkable way. I highly recommend this movie for all audiences. I own very, very few movies, but I will add this one.

Absolutely stunning. The actors are both brilliant men and play their roles unbelievably well. The story is a beautiful one and takes you through the hardship of Johnny coming to realize not only the beauty that surrounds him but the love budding between him and Gheorghe. One of the best films I've seen in 2018

Honestly one of the best LGBT romance movies ever made. Even the scenes with little or no dialogue were perfectly executed and added to the entire film. This film made me cry, laugh, get angry, and fall in love all in one sweep. Will definitely watch again! Hopefully Netflix will pick it up!
