Loved it! The old style animation was totally refreshing after the seeing the hyper detailed anime style so much recently. The story was a bit out there but easily followable and super action packed. If you are a Green Lantern fan omg. I really loved that the villains were able to hurt Superman and that Superman was almost a sideline character in this. He's such a scene stealer when in battle alongside the JLA and this had the surprising element of Supes isn't quite good enough... impressive👍

Alan Burnett & Bruce Timm are truly spectacular. Their understanding of these characters & how to make them interact in meaningful ways is impressive. Jessica's journey out of PTSD & becoming courageous is the best character arc in recent DC memory. Starboy's sacrifice is heroic and emotional; a great scene. Few mistakes are present, & are minor. Great to see strong female & male characters who interact intelligently instead of the usual bumbling male w/ trailing behind a bulletproof female.

Any chance of seeing the fatally underused "Legion of Superheroes" characters automatically advances any storyline. And forces me to view it. (At least for a 1st time.) And any even half intelligent use of them, causes me to come back, for, possibly, a second chance. We need a 31st century movie, based, at least originally, around"Legion" headquarters. And stories about the various origin of powers could serve as material for several hit movies, tv series, mini series, etc.
