About this movie

It's Halloween night in Gotham and a mysterious crime spree has Batman on the trail of the city's spookiest villains: Scarecrow, Clayface, Silver Banshee and Solomon Grundy. Ruling over these misfits is the clown prince of crime himself, The Joker! Armed with a computer virus and diabolical plan to unleash "digital laugher" upon Gotham's technology, only the Dark Knight can stop this gruesome gang. Joining forces with Green Arrow, Cyborg, Nightwing and Red Robin, it's an action-packed race to stop the Joker and save the city. When the sun rises, will it shine upon Gotham or Jokertown?

Good voicework, half-decent storyline, and apart from the creepy Joker/Batman fight at the end, mostly decent fights. The art style takes some getting used to (you'll never get used to Joker's nose or Bruce Wayne's face, but the rest you can come around on), but it was a decent way to blow an afternoon. Silver Banshee is a villain we don't often see, and it was a shame she was minimalized and mostly tame in this film, even getting shafted in Joker's big announcement. Grundy and Clayface did alright, but Scarecrow was somewhat weak. What's never really explained is why all of these villains went along with Joker's plan, and even though Joker's plan would have some pretty significant spoils, first rule of villains is everyone double-crosses everyone, and not only do these villains never question Joker, they never even hint at having their own endgame.

The animation isn't that great. Seen better format with previous DC animated movies.
