Heart. This film has a lot of heart and in doing so, the laughs feel authentic, not because you are laughing at scenes and dialogue that Should be making you laugh but that are Really funny. What works about this film though is that it's also honest and when then those serious scenes hit you, you feel it, especially when there's a brief pause on characters' faces. It's a solid picture that anyone with a dream to do something other than what they're doing should see. It's sad but also honest and real. Really enjoyable picture.

This movie was great. It had a great mix of comedy and just real moments. You really felt for them and understood them. Mike Birbiglia is one of my favorite comedians/story teller. I say story teller, because his stand ups take you a whole journey.. its not joke after joke, its a story. That makes you feel.. just like this movie. Fantastic.

This movie should have been categorized as a drama. Instead, it was listed under comedies. It is not a funny ha ha comedy AT ALL. There are about 2 legitimate laughs. The rest is very dull and boring. I saw this in the theater and I honestly could not wait for it to end.
