About this movie

The film is inspired by the true story of Gary Faulkner (Nicolas Cage), a handyman from Colorado who receives a vision from God (Russell Brand) telling him to go to Pakistan to do what no one else can do — namely to capture Osama bin Laden. So without any questions or skills, he follows his mission.

I really was expecting a good movie. The trailer did it's job. Had me fooled enough to waste a google play discount on this dumpster fire. It's as if Nicholas Cage signed a contract that requires him to make 3 bad movies a year and that he must accept all scripts presented to him. A documentary of the real man would have been more interesting and likely easier to follow. There probably wasn't actually enough content to make an entire movie so they told Nicholas to go full Cage on it and fill the run time. It really had potential in my mind to be a very interesting story. Unfortunately like the real subject of this film, it's a huge failure.

If you like movies where Nic Cage flips his Shi...mind, then this is the film for you. It's got a few laugh-out-loud moments and is unique and odd....definitely an Indie gem for 2016.
