About this movie

Four years unjustly jailed haven't dampened the spirits or determination of Nikki Finn. The spunky parolee sets out to clear her name - and sets the Big Apple spinning in deliriously funny ways.

"Madonna is sexy and funny - a very engaging comedian," Vincent Canby of The New York Times wrote of her work in Who's That Girl. The music/movie superstar displays kicky comic flair and sings four terrific soundtrack tunes (Causing a Commotion, The Look of Love, Can't Stop and the title song). Griffin Dunne co-stars as an uptight, soon-to-wed attorney whose mild lifestyle swerves into the path of uproarious oncoming traffic courtesy of Nikki. This frisky caper proves screwball comedy is alive and swell.

Grew up watching this. I love this movie. When I think of scenes I just bust out laughing. It's hands down 1 of my all time favorites! I try & hold a "Family Night" hang out watching movies from x to x with our kids(17-25) :-) & thinking of a movie to watch this popped in my mind. So for Xmas day this is on the list. I'm sure they're not going to want to watch an older movie & complain but momma's goin' make them. They'll be a fan after I'm sure! Lol

This is just a good hilarious movie. I love that it's based loosely (and I mean loosely) on the 1938 film Bringing Up Baby starring Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn. Though Madonna and Griffin Dunne are not like the stars of the past this pairing was a brilliant one and it worked well. I highly recommend this movie.
