Scream is one of the best horror series having Ghostface the only main antagonist supervillain within the films. With every slasher/horror story there are urban legends of these franchise series Halloween, Friday the 13th, Black Christmas, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. On my thought, the main antagonist supervillains on each different stories: Michael Myers / The Shape, Jason Voorhees, The Moaner, Freddy Krueger, and Leatherface.

The television series of 'Scream' truly is an amazing development. The well planned plot, the twists for the killers, and just the entire spread of it all. If I am being honest, I have probably watched the first and second series all the way through about seventy five times(maybe more!). If you are looking for another film similar to the original(movie) 'Scream', I would not choose this as your go-to. Though they are both in the slasher genre, the characters and killer motives are not identical. The way the plot is recieved is also entirely different. Slasher movies burn fast and hot. They are simple to plan. Characters go to a party, say something ignorant like "I'll be right back" and then the killer picks them off one by one. It's ideal if you're looking for a thrill that can also be delivered in a timely manner. The television series, in contrast, lets the suspense build by the cliff-hanging endings and shorter time in each episode.

It isn't the worst definitely worth the watch but every character is a quick witted, caracture of a high schooler, who apparently knows everything about "surviving" a killer. No character comes across as very likable, although they all have thier moments. The tone, pacing, and kills do make up for the short falls of the almost cartoonish characters who lack depth.
