I haven't had a lot of respect for Rian Johnson after the disaster that was Star Wars the Last Jedi, but I heard this was really good and decided to see it. It was a bit overrated, imo, for a couple reasons: the discombobulated themes between each scene (like how awesome and artsy the first few scenes were and then how drab and weird the others were) and how *spoiler* it was kind of obvious Chris Evans was the killer. The middle was pretty weak, and I wished the twist was much more awesome. 6/10

Truly a phenomenal film. Fantastic acting, screenplay, and plot. I'm going to be honest, the ending was a bit unexpected for me(in a good way) and I can usually predict plots well. Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc is a character that I cant wait to see more of in the spinoff. He is a hilarious, but very serious character, as are others in this movie. The screenplay is fantastic, cliff-hanging, and funny. Would definitely reccomend this to anyone who is second guessing it.

First, excellent quality video. This was a fantastic spin on a "who done it" story that gives you enough hints to draw conclusions as to who the guilty party is. The cast was perfectly picked for their roles in this one and was masterfully executed. Rian Johnson does not make mistakes when he tells a story. Watch this and enjoy the ride. Christopher Plummer is always a joy to watch as is Daniel Craig's consulting detective. Chris Evans plays the bad boy you love to hate. Jamie Lee Curtis plays the overachieving realtor, Don Johnson's perfectly executed heavy hand, Michael Shannon plays the unimaginative and money hungry curator, Toni Collette is the daughter in law naturalist, and a slew of strategic faces and easter eggs abound. We follow Ana De Armas's misadventures as she attempts to makes sense of it all while being afflicted with violent nausea if she tells a lie. This story is fun to the very last moment.
