About this movie

Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen) is a gifted and free-spirited journalist with an affinity for trouble. Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron) is one of the most influential women in the world. Smart, sophisticated, and accomplished, she's a powerhouse diplomat with a talent for…well, mostly everything. The two have nothing in common, except that she was his babysitter and childhood crush. When Fred unexpectedly reconnects with Charlotte, he charms her with his self-deprecating humor and his memories of her youthful idealism. As she prepares to make a run for the Presidency, Charlotte impulsively hires Fred as her speechwriter, much to the dismay of her trusted advisors. A fish out of water on Charlotte's elite team, Fred is unprepared for her glamourous lifestyle in the limelight. However, sparks fly as their unmistakable chemistry leads to a round-the-world romance and a series of unexpected and dangerous incidents.

This is my new officail favorite movie of all time. Anyone who thinks its a political satire is obvously a up tite self centured political nouritic. Ice Cubes son Seths best friend is a republican and Seth a democrat who realizes he has racist tendencys when he reacts to finding out his bestfriend is a republican. They give a perfect example of what compromise could look like and how we all should stop with what seperates us and work with each other. This movie gave me hope.

I found this movie to be a nice departure from reality (seriously, no one's hair looks as good as Charlotte's with that much sleep deprivation) The physical comedy was surprising, which made it comedy, and both lead roles were written to portray believable humans in unlikely situations. It entertained me for a brief time period. Mission accomplished.

Great movie. Lots of Boris' leaving negative reviews from the IRA at St. Petersburg. Funny how the "left" are commies when the right are best friends with Putin and his buddies. Subsidising farmers with our tax dollars because orange clown is throwing a fit with the Chinese. Giving money away to corporations and the rich (yeah, that's not you). Real socialism from the GOP at it's best.
