Scanners II: The New Order

I love all of Scanners films, it would mashe a fantastic tv show. This one is not as good as the first in trends of storyline and tension, but it is a lot of fun avid it has great gore effects that far exceed the first film. This one is more of a straight up horror film than the guest or 3rd installment. The acting is at times wooden, but isn't aweful but sometimes campy. The plot and characters are interesting, but since Eph 1 did pretty well in the first film, why a Eph 2 which has bad side effects?
