The look of the set, costumes, make-up, and more was spot on. The acting was really great, especially Douglas Booth as George. Overall very believable and it seems very accurate to George's book Take It Like A Man. He and Jon actually visited the set several times and approved things throughout production so you know the authenticity is there. Definitely worth a watch for Culture Club, Boy George, and/or 70's and 80's fans. A great peek into the beginnings of one of the most influential singers and one of the most iconic bands. It almost feels like you're watching an actual recording of the original events. It's funny, sad, and dramatic. It's great that after all that's happened he's still around, ready to release a new album this month (This Is What I Do).

This movie is based on the beginning life of pop singer Boy George and Culture Club! It doesn't tell you about the band, but yet what went on behind the recordings and studio time! It kind of jumps back and forth from the Culture Club era and the time before George made it as a singer. It's a good movie to learn about how George started and how he became such an icon. Great movie for the Boy George fan!
