I really enjoyed this movie. It somewhat reminded me of the 1995 film Powder, starring Sean Patrick Flanery. This film is very much an indie with a mostly-unknown cast, but they did a great job with (presumably) limited resources. This movie is hard to describe, it's a little bit supernatural, a bit dark comedy, a bit thriller and a bit morality tale. Kudos to the cast and crew for this indie gem.

It's the kind of story about a kind of place you wouldn't want to be a part of cuz of a bunch of crazies living there. Enough said, sorry.

A Better Place addresses some major issues during these critical times. Under expert direction and with a talented cast this all too real-life drama could be played out in Anytown USA. The many awards received are well deserved.
