Documentary Now! is a comedy anthology series that pays loving homage to the world's best-known documentaries. Presented by executive producers Lorne Michaels, Seth Meyers, Bill Hader and Fred Armisen, each episode is a stand-alone loving parody of a classic documentary, from Grey Gardens and The Thin Blue Line to Stop Making Sense and Jiro Dreams of Sushi. Hosted by Dame Helen Mirren, the series strives for exacting authenticity in both tone and performance, adopting a different style of nonfiction filmmaking for each episode and traveling around the globe for locations to honor the most important stories that didn't actually happen.
