It wasn’t a great movie, I feel like they should have stopped at the 3rd one. SPOILERS INCOMING: But with that being said Forkie is a fun relatable character and the new characters were enjoyable, but I really really wish we could have heard more lines from our old favorites rather than so much from these new (though likable) characters especially since Woodie would be saying his goodbye to them. This movie also turned Buzz into an idiot with a running gag, and even though buzz and Jessie had showed a lot of chemistry in movies 2-3 there’s a huge lack of it in this one. The goodbye hug between him and woody should have been more emotional, it fell very flat. These two were like a dynamic duo, their goodbye should have showed that. Another thing, the first three movies establish Woody as this toy who desperately wished to keep his family together and was very loyal to his owner and family, but in this movie he doesn’t feel like the same toy. The way this movie ended made me wish Andy kept Woody. The Woody I know would have chose his family over an ownerless uncertain future with his now very different independent ex, even if Bonnie didn’t like playing with him much anymore.

They made, another one. Another 2 hours of tom Hanks yelling/whining into a microphone. Oh no pieces of plastic have to be played with. The "bad guy" tried repeatedly to kidnap and steal organs from a toy, and, is rewarded in the end with what they want. I guess the moral of the story is, if you want something enough, you should be willing to kidnap, and harvest someone's organs to achieve your vapid goals. Writing this review made me dislike this movie even more.

They had the perfect ending to the franchise with Toy Story 3. Since this one was mostly tying up a loose end for Woody as a character, it felt like it was a Toy Story 3 1/2. They did end up fleshing out Bo Peep's character (outside of her strictly being a love interest in the past movies) but not by much. If done sooner, she wouldn't feel like a new character. Besides that I really enjoyed this movie. The graphics were amazing, good new characters, the heart is there - good movie but not great.
