About this show

Inspired by Bellevue, the oldest public hospital in America, this unique medical drama follows the brilliant and charming Dr. Max Goodwin, the institution's newest medical director who sets out to tear up the bureaucracy and provide exceptional care. How can he help? Well, the doctors and staff have heard this before. Not taking "no" for an answer, Dr. Goodwin must disrupt the status quo and prove he will stop at nothing to breathe new life into this understaffed, underfunded and underappreciated hospital - the only one in the world capable of treating Ebola patients, prisoners from Rikers and the President of the United States under one roof - and return it to the glory that put it on the map.

Great show until this last one- tired of BLM.. of course they do along with Whites lives- Red lives- Brown lives, etc shame on you for attempting to make others feel less then they are and if they do stand up... liberals make you feel bad. Your a TV program, leaves the politics to the politicians

Your typical medical drama. Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist) is really the only thing which distinguishes it from any other medical show. As is the usual case, he wants to put the patient's care before money. The show is OK, but nothing we haven't seen before, and "The Resident" is a similar show, but much better.

Even nbc who cancels everything doesn't 'believe' in this show with only 2 episodes on terrible, rarely works app, won't even let one 'catchup' on show if interested. They got Bellevue right but Eggold can't carry show, just like his canceled spinoff.
