The only reason I completed this movie to the end was in the hope that it all connected in someway and that through a miracle the storyline would get better and explain essential things. But to my disappointment it never did. All in all I'm giving 2 stars for the setting and Animations in this movie. JUST GIVE ALITTLE BACKGROUND WOULD YA? It seems like this whole movie is just a show off of what this graphic design team can do rather then a movie with plot and a story (which are nonexistent)

FINALLY!!!! A noteworthy Russian ripoff of the Golden Compass! MY only complaint is that you didn't produce this sooner, so I am only giving it 4 stars due to a lack of effort!

Overall, this was a good movie. I enjoyed the story, the action was fairly good and the fact that it focused more on the relationship between a loving father and his daughter, rather than some romantic interest that she fell into. I liked the steampunk style of the movie as well. It was neat to see how that was combined with the use of magic. This is likely a movie for a family to enjoy together. I would recommend this movie.
