This was a very well done fictional drama based on historically accurate events. The relationships between the two main characters and with each of their family members keeps this story interesting. Difficult subject but worth the watch. Great acting by all.

Loved the movie just didn't like the way it ended. I kind of stopped the movie when there was only 10 minutes left because I was so upset. I also didn't like the way Leyna spoke about African American music and such and how she didn't appreciate her roots when she was mixed. I loved her mother though. If it didn't end the way it did, I'd probably watch it again and again. Though it was pretty sad.
