About this movie

In the tradition of MY BLOODY VALENTINE, THE STEPFATHER, and LAKEVIEW TERRACE, MOTHER'S DAY follows three brothers who break into their childhood home in order to evade the police. Once there, they take the new owners and their guests hostage, terrorizing and brutalizing them. When their sadistic mother (Rebecca DeMornay of THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE) arrives to help them escape and clean up their mess, she realizes she still has a lot to teach her children, and their hostages, about torture.

Wow..Awesome. The people could not overcome the guys because they were crazy people with guns and knives slot of people in hostage situation u don't know what to do or how to react as that girl did when she tried to escape out the door and got shot..You never know how you would react in a hostage situation unless your actually in it

Great movie! Rebecca De Mornay was chilling and gave an amazing performance as the manipulative deranged psycho mother. It's a great, suspenseful storyline and kept me interested, hoping for the moment when the "other shoe drops".

I am telling you guys. All I watch is horror movies and I am constantly trying to find great gore, good acting, and plot twists. This movie was a hostage situation movie that had me sitting straight up at the end of my bed. I loved it so much. Definitely worth buying. Excellent in so many facets.
