The Captive

Ok, this movie wasn't HORRIBLE! BUT it wasn't GREAT either. It could've been written and directed BETTER. Yes, it was choppy and it was hard to follow at times. Especially, when it came to the kidnapped girl watching her mom clean a room OVER and OVER again. And why was she speaking into a microphone? There was no explanation for this. Also, you wouldn't of known that she was the victim and CAPTIVE of a PEDOPHILE for years because of her behavior in the movie. So yes, I TOO was very CONFUSED.

Besides it flipping all over the place with scenes that make it difficult to follow I gotta say the movie is just "ok". Like it didn't draw me into the movie at all, The Prisoner however was just a phenomenal film where they captivate the audience. This was pretty boring and the ending was quick and to the point. I rented the movie even against all critics and I kinda regret it...

How is the story hard to follow? And what was so bad about the ending? Now gone girl that was a terrible ending. This ending is a good ending. I'm going to stop reading you amateur critics comments because you halfway know what your talking about. With your inaccurate statements can make a person miss out on a good movie. If this movie is hard to follow then you need to stick to pixar movies or fake love stories. The professional critics are already inaccurate and don't know what they want in a movie.
