Those looking for another Braveheart, or at least another bloody battle film will be disappointed, but for those who care to look at the other side of war, this film is a hits hard. It is a look into the the world of a defeated king, a widowed mother, and children who lost their father to battle. But don't let me dissuade you, as sometimes champions are found in those final desperate acts. Shame on the heart of a man that would vote this down.

Despite the bad reviews, I watched this anyways. I can see where a person who isn't of Irish or Scottish descent (Steve Sanchez) wouldn't appreciate this movie. However, I think that when paired with Braveheart, it gives a much fuller view into my heritage's persecution and occupation by the Crown of Britain.

So I'm reading along with others reviewed statements about "Braveheart": remember Robert The Bruce is "the" King that "Started it all" along with "William Wallace/Braveheart"... and had it not been for the efforts of "The Bruce" (The Scottish revolution) would of never got a chance to full fruition...So Enjoy your New movie and please pay attention to the plot and storylines "Because" it offers up "more than one explanation of the times back then"
