Now, all Bob needs to do is convince her to give him a chance – which will take some doing since they couldn’t be more different. After coming to America to find a better life for her and her son, Dele, Abishola lives in a small apartment with her super-protective relatives, Auntie Ola and Uncle Tunde. Undaunted by Abishola’s lack of initial interest or the difference between them, Bob is determined to win the woman’s heart that makes his own skip a beat.

It only took 1 episode to turn me off on this abomination. In the beginning, I had high expectations for this series. But, after the first episode with its anti African American utterance from said Nigerian American lead, had me on rewind to make sure I heard correctly. Apparently, this show works to push the divide between Africans and AfrAm. The sad part, some Africans unwittingly believe and push this lie about AfrAm. As for B♥️A, the jokes are stale and the show is an unfunny hot mess.

Surprisingly good! Typical “by the book” comedy with some pretty funny dialogue. The three women sitting at the cafeteria table talking is well done. Don’t know how Lorre got this idea or how he got it on the air. Don’t know how long they can drag the plot out, but so far, it’s light and funny to watch.

This show is like walking past any couple sitting on a bench. Both endearing and making you wonder at their story. This gives it to you. Best comedy I've seen in awhile. Both heartfelt and not whitewashed. I don't just mean the actors, I mean everything being so pc that it is no longer reality. I could even see some of the characters as fellow bus riders, and I live in New England.
