About this show

From Warner Bros. Animation, these teen titans are on the go! Right after they make a sandwich or play some video games. Wait, there's laundry to do? ("Not it!") After that, they'll definitely go fight some crime. Maybe. Don't miss the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg - teen super heroes who are totally unsupervised!

This show is pretty much good at nothing. Well animation is alright, otherwise nothing. I am fortunate enough to have avoided this disease, but that doesn't mean that I don't get annoyed when this is the only thing my little brother can watch nowadays. This show is unfunny in its humor, uncreative in its plots, uncompelling in its characters, and not proficient in delivering its messages/themes. Their idea of humor is writing songs about waffles. Apparently randomness instead of actual jokes is more appealing to young audiences, which may be true, but that doesn't mean that a show should sell out just because that strategy is more successful financially. There can be overlap, a way to appeal to both audiences. The "interesting" visuals are probably another appeal (it isn't too hard to make interesting visuals over a song about waffles), although its CN counterparts produce more interesting and varied visuals in my opinion. But as long as it's waffles and little kids like it, you should keep doing it according to your higher-ups. A good show doesn't need to be funny, although it should be if that is the genre of show it aims to be, but let's ignore the failure to deliver its promise of humor... Worthless plots. A good plot should be able to interestingly and creatively convey a theme, but you need to watch an episode for yourself to understand how this show fails in that regard. The writing is generally lazy and the message the episode is pushing is essentially spoonfed to the viewer. It is fine to clarify a theme at the end of the episode, but unless you allow viewers to absorb the message and associate it with an interesting plot, it won't stick. The episodes make the theme painfully obvious. If it isn't teaching a theme, the painfully unfunny humor pretty much ruins any basic story that the episode tried to follow. And the randomness does not result in an interesting story. The characters are not particularly interesting. I'll just say this: This is not a show that today's generation will look back upon in the future. It will undoubtedly be left to rot in purgatory never to be unearthed again. And it's also a shame that this show pretty much sucks up the entirety of the daily schedule.

It used to be funny when i was younger but damn, my pop-pop was right its B A D. Robin is a huge jerk, and very creepy. Starfire tends to always exploit the fact that Robin likes her and be mean to him. Raven is just way meaner than the Mean Girls. Beast boy seems more like a hippie stereotype and hes annoying. Cyborg is annoying. Everyone in it is just a massive jerk and dumber than my fingernails. CN only airs this bc it gets them lots of money bc litte kids like this... monstrosity.
